BAND RECORDING

Recording a band is about capturing a moment, not just a performance. My goal is to create an environment where you can stop thinking about microphones and technology and focus entirely on making music. That's where the magic happens.

My approach has been shaped by years working at Studios 301, the largest recording studio complex in the Southern Hemisphere and a studio with a long-standing relationship with Abbey Road Studios in London. It was there that I had the privilege of learning from some of Australia's most respected engineers, working with internationally recognised artists, and developing my craft using world-class analogue consoles, tape machines, and the kind of equipment found in the world's most iconic recording studios.

Those experiences taught me techniques and workflows that meet an international standard, but more importantly, they taught me that great engineering is about serving the music. Whether I'm recording to tape, working on a large-format analogue console, or running a modern digital session, I bring the same confidence and attention to detail to every project. That technical foundation allows me to stay focused on what matters most—capturing the energy, chemistry, and emotion that make your band unique.

My goal is simple: to create recordings that already feel like records. Every microphone choice, every placement, and every creative decision is made to preserve the character of your music while giving you recordings that can confidently become the foundation of a world-class release.
